significantly in the Santee Cooper Region. There are three
courses located in the immediate vicinity of Santee, South
Carolina: the Lake Marion Golf Course, the Santee Cooper Country Club,
and the Santee National Golf Course. Another six are located within
a 30 minute drive. Golfing is a 12-month-a-year activity in Santee
Cooper Country, with the spring and autumn months offering perfect golfing
weather. Greens fees are very reasonable, and the courses are uncrowded.

Lake Marion Golf Course offers
gentle rolling hills and strategically placed hazards to challenge all
golf enthusiasts. Wide fairways lined with native foliage provide a gracious
setting in which to test your skills on the 18 hole course. Five holes
bring water into play while 47 sand traps cleverly challenge most golfers.
This challenging par 72 course provides men and ladies an opportunity which
challenges a low handicapper and provides an enjoyable round for beginners
as well. Amenities: Fully stocked pro shop, snack bar, putting green,
